Overnight Camp-Ins

Program Information:

Experience Soldier Life! Groups of children aged 9-12 can step back in time and experience life as a soldier by spending a night in authentically restored barrack rooms. Campers will sleep in wooden bunks, just like soldiers did, with two kids per bed. Don’t forget to bring sleeping bags and pillows!

  • Start Time: Camp-ins begin at 4 PM.
  • Sleeping Arrangements: There are six sets of bunks, with soldiers originally sleeping two to a bed, four to a bunk, and 12 to a room. Campers will sleep in the same arrangement, with the floor used for additional campers and adults.
  • Group Size: Maximum of 30 people, with a minimum of three adults per group required.
  • Cost: $950 for up to 24 people. Additional campers (up to 30 total) are $35 each.
  • Deposit: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required 3 weeks after booking.
  • Facilities: There are modern restroom facilities, but no showering facilities.
  • Outdoor Activities: Many activities will be conducted outdoors, except in severe weather. Please dress accordingly.

  • Choice of program: Uniforms & Clothing, Child’s Play, Woman’s Point of View, African American Experience, Of Arms and Men, Cooking Stew in a Camp Kitchen
  • Programs can be customized to meet the needs of your group.
  • After breakfast, we suggest your group arrange tours with nearby historical sites, such as the 1719 William Trent House, the New Jersey State House, the New Jersey State Museum, Princeton Battlefield, Washington Crossing State Parks, or Pennsbury Manor.
